 OVERVIEW

blueprint is a simple text editor designed to work with .txt files. Although it is not limited to working with this format. It can also be used to write in html and supports the .bas file format. It will support files up to (1)5MB in size. Microsoft TM Notepad is limited to 64KB. The main editor does not wrap lines of text to make it easier to write programs that require larger lines of text to be preserved. If you require a uniform finish to your document then there is a text wrap view available that will wrap lines of text like most standard text editors. The display is WYSIWYG, what you see on the screen is how your document will look when you send it to a printer.

SPECIAL FEATURES

Split view- Allows you to have two copies of a document on the same screen. Your original document as loaded from the disk will appear to the right, and an identical copy which you can edit will appear on the left. Handy for making bespoke documents from a previously saved template for example. You may also use the right pane to make notes and save them.

Revert- When you load a document into blueprint, it makes a copy and caches it in internal memory so that if you wish to go back to your original document and undo all changes that have been made. You may do so with one click. Combined with the log file feature revert becomes almost limitless. It becomes possible to Revert documents that you have been working on several weeks ago.

Log file- blueprint keeps a copy of documents that have been worked on in a log file with this feature enabled.

History- With this feature enabled you can quickly re-load the last 10 documents you worked on into the editor.

Mini view- Miniture version of blueprint that sits on top of other open windows. Handy for cutting and pasting information from the internet for example or just when space is at a premium on your desktop.

Themes- Change the look of the editor to suit your tastes. There are 6 to choose from.

LICENSING

blueprint is a FREEWARE program. It costs you nothing to try it out or keep it. All features are fully available from the moment you install. No nag screens time limits or fuss.

SAFE DOWNLOAD

blueprint does not contain any malicious code. It is scanned with AVAST! anti-virus before it leaves us and gets uploaded to our preferred file host FileFactory.com. We would recommend downloading the latest version of the program from this source. You are permitted to (2) freely share blueprint of course.

blueprint is provided with full help documentation and technical support is available via e-mail.

(1) Actual size is dependant on a number of factors that are determined by internal procedures including available physical memory and length of lines in the document. If a file is too large an error message will be displayed.
(2) Sharing of the program is subject to Terms & Conditions detailed in your License Agreement.

Pre-registration is expected to open in  September 2013 ahead of the scheduled October  Release. So that you can have your licence key and be ready to go as soon as you download.  Registration is FREE and unlocks the full feature set of the program. You can also choose to be notified of future releases as part of the process.
